TMZ reports that the popular rapper was billed to perform at a Robin Hood Charity event in New York City on Monday, May 9 but was forced to cancel due to ill health.

The organization sent emails to all guests less than 3 hours before the show; to announce Chance was hospitalized, and Mark Ronson and Joey Bada$$ would take his place.

Chance is however scheduled to release his third mixtape later this week, and just debuted a new single on the 'Tonight Show.'
